A 50-year-old man from Shaker Heights was arrested and has been charged with felonious assault after said he bit off part of a man's right ear.
The victim was standing near the 2200 block of Lee Road smoking a cigarette around 10:30 p.m. March 14 when he said a man he knew got out of his car and started punching him. The Shaker Heights man is then accused of taking a chunk of the victim's ear with his teeth.
Woman charged with breaking beer bottle over another person's head

A 47-year-old woman from Cleveland was arrested and is accused of breaking a beer bottle over another woman's head. The incident happened at 1 p.m. March 16 on the 900 block of Caledonia Ave., and began as a verbal fight. Police arrested the woman and charged her with felonious assault.
Man tries to grab Cleveland Heights High School Student

A mother called police and said a man tried to grab her 18-year-old daughter as she was walking to March 16. The girl said the man, who looked to be in his 40's, jumped out of the bushes and tried to grab her at about 7:53 a.m. She was not injured, and police could not locate a suspect.
Cleveland Heights High School students charged with disorderly conduct
Two teens from Cleveland Heights High School were arrested and accused of fighting at school. The 14-year-old from University Heights and 15-year-old from Cleveland Heights were charged with disorderly conduct.
