Police Blotter: Man Assaults Bouncer With Stun Gun
The suspect tried to get into Panini's with a fake ID
A man tried to get into with a fake ID around 1:50 a.m. Aug. 7. When the bouncer turned him away, the man shocked the bouncer with a stun gun and fled. The bouncer is OK, but the suspect was not found.
Two men rob 18-year-old Cleveland Heights resident
Two men approached an 18-year-old Cleveland Heights resident around 11 p.m. Aug. 3 at Euclid Heights Boulevard and Lee Road and threatened him with what looked like a gun. The men took a necklace, hat and $10. The robbers looked like they were 19 or 20 years old, the victim reported. Police are still investigating.

Man refuses to give up cigarettes
Two men approached a 21-year-old man from Cleveland Heights at 12:30 a.m. Aug. 9 on the 3900 block of Fairfax Road, and one asked him for $5. He gave them the money, and then the other person asked him for all of his cash and threatened to beat him up. The man gave them the rest of his dough — which was $20. As he went to walk away, they asked him for his cigarettes. He said no, and they left him alone.
