Police Blotter: People Throw Party in Vacant House Using Social Media

Eleven people, ranging in age from 17 to 20, were arrested

A concerned resident called police after she saw a large group of people in a parking lot near Cleveland Heights Boulevard.

Police responded, and found a party near the 1300 block of Cleveland Heights Boulevard. But organizers hosted the shindig in a vacant house that they broke into. A group of people spread the word about this "kick back" by sending out messages on Twitter.

Eleven people were still in the house when police arrived around 10 p.m. Aug. 5, and were arrested and charged with breaking and entering.
