Police Blotter: Police Arrest Robbery Suspect

The 19-year-old from Cleveland is charged with robbing a man at gunpoint in his home

A Cleveland Heights resident said two men he knew came to his house on the 3800 block of Delmore Road around 11 p.m. Jan. 10 and robbed him at gunpoint. The men stole money. Police arrested one of the suspects in the robbery, a 19-year-old from Cleveland.

Man robbed at gunpoint

A Cleveland Heights man was fishing for something out of his trunk in a parking lot on the 3400 block of Mayfield Road when he said a man approached him and asked him for a light. It was 6:40 a.m. Jan. 22. The 41-year-old man said he didn't have a lighter. The suspect then pulled out a gun and asked for the man's wallet. The victim fought him off, and the suspect ran away. Police are still investigating.

Woman robbed by three young men

A 26-year-old Cleveland Heights woman was walking near Noble and Bluestone roads at 11:43 p.m. Jan. 22 when she said three young men grabbed her from behind. They took cash from her left front jacket pocket and ran. She did not see a weapon. Police are still investigating.

Man robbed at gunpoint

A 24-year-old Cleveland Heights man was walking near Woodbridge and Castleton roads around 6:17 p.m. Jan. 21 when he said a car pulled up to him. Two men got out, the driver showed him a gun, and the men stole his wallet and cell phone. The suspects are described as black men in their late teens or early 20s, and were driving a gold, four-door sedan. The victim said the car was sitting low to the ground, police said. Police are investigating.

Police arrest burglary suspect

A woman called police around 9:46 p.m. Jan. 21 and said a man was in her house. Police responded and found the suspect — a 36-year-old from East Cleveland — outside of her home on the 3300 block of Monticello Boulevard. arrested him and charged him with burglary.
