Police Confiscate 13 Pounds of Marijuana from Cleveland Heights Man

The 32-year-old was pulled over for speeding when police discovered the drugs and that he was drunk

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers stopped a Cleveland Heights man around 9 p.m. July 7 for speeding on Interstate 90 in Cuyahoga County.

First they discovered he was drunk. Then, they smelled raw marijuana. After inspecting his 2006 Hummer, they found 13, one-pound bundles of the drug, worth nearly $30,000, according to a press release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Jamall Harris, 32, was charged with drunken driving and trafficking marijuana. If convicted, he could serve a maximum of five years in prison and be fined up to $10,000.
