Police Helping Vigilant Neighbors, Connecting With Residents

A new block watch program has been developed by the Cleveland Heights Police Department.

A new block watch program developed by the Cleveland Heights Police Department is helping area neighborhood watches get established, according to the Plain Dealer.

Police have been trying more and more to reach out to residents and the program, started in July, is another way of staying connected with the city and it's neighborhood watch groups.

"We're trying to use any means possible to stay in contact with the community," Sgt. Ernest Williams told the Plain Dealer.
