Thieves Target Cars On South Overlook, Steal Items Inside

Cleveland Heights Police said car owners reported a stolen purse, GPS unit, iPad and more.

At least eight people reported that thieves stole items from their cars overnight on Oct. 24 on the 2200 and 2300 blocks of South Overlook Road.

Though many car owners said they locked their doors, police could not find visible signs of force, and believe many left their doors unlocked.

Among the items reported missing were an iPad, GPS unit and purse.
