Man Assaults Victim During Armed Robbery

Two men robbed a man and a woman on Euclid Heights Boulevard Aug. 12.

A man and woman were robbed at gunpoint on the 2700 block of Euclid Heights Boulevard at about 1:30 a.m. Aug. 12, according to Cleveland Heights Police reports.

The two men both revealed guns and stole the victims' wallets and keys. One of the gunmen hit the man on the head with his weapon. The man, 22, was treated on the scene for his injuries but was not transported to the hospital. The suspects did not assault the 24-year-old woman.

Police checked the area for a silver car but were not able to find the suspects. Police are still investigating.
