Suspects Fire at Victims Following Armed Robbery

Cleveland Heights police arrest two women and two boys accused of assaulting victims and shooting at their car

A woman was walking out of a business near Noble and Monticello at 10:45 p.m. March 2 when a woman in a car asked her if she had a light. She said sure, and as she was attempting to grab a lighter, the woman in the car got out, pulled out a gun, and robbed her. The woman then hit the victim in the face with her gun, which knocked her to the ground. The victim’s boyfriend noticed what was happening and ran over to try to help. Another woman in the car got out and started assaulting the woman on the ground, police said.

Then, two boys that were in the back of the suspects’ car got out and started fighting the boyfriend. The victims broke free and drove off, but the four suspects followed them. The suspects started shooting at the victims’ car, but they were again able to get away. later pulled over a car that matched the description of the suspects and arrested two women from Highland Heights who are 18 and 19 years old, and two 17-year-old boys, one from Cleveland Heights and another from South Euclid. They are charged with aggravated robbery and felonious assault.
