Verbal Argument Over Parking Spot Leads to Arrest

One man said a Beachwood resident threatened him with a gun.

A verbal argument over a parking spot near the 3900 block of Mayfield Road in Cleveland Heights escalated to the point that police responded and arrested one man.

The fight started around noon on Nov. 16, according to police records. Two men were arguing over a parking spot, when one man — a 63-year-old from Beachwood — lifted up his coat and revealed a gun, the victim reported.

Police responded and recovered a weapon from the Beachwood man. He was charged with aggravated menacing.
