Woman Wakes Up To Find Intruder In Her Home: Police Blotter

The Hillcrest Road resident told police a woman broke into her home.

A Cleveland Heights resident said a woman broke into her home on the 1600 block of Hillcrest Road at about 4 a.m. Aug. 18.

The resident was sleeping and said when she woke up, she was face-to-face with the intruder. The resident said the woman immediately fled the house, and police said it appeared that the burglar propped a chair under the bathroom window and crawled in. The intruder, described as a woman in her early 20s, 5-feet-4-inches and wearing dark clothing, did not steal anything.

Residents report group of four firing paintball guns at citizens

Residents called police Aug. 19 and said a group of four boys or men were firing paintball guns at citizens on the 2300 block of Noble Road. They were driving a white Ford Focus and had out-of-state plates.

Shell casings found in Coventry parking garage

A Cleveland Heights employee reported that he found two shell casings in the Coventry Road parking garage at 10:03 a.m. Aug. 20.

Thats a scary sight but as i continue to read it really saddens me that people would shoot bbs at citizens....I really like playing with airsoft guns and paintball, but it does not help when people go crazy with them. i mean just in the state of california they are trying to ban the sport of airsoft and when we try to do our best to reverse it things like this happen which does not help, sometimes i wish people would be more careful and familiarize themselves with the safety concerns http://www.airsplat.com/airsoft-safety.htm it would really help out.
