Woman Wakes Up To Find Intruder In Her Home: Police Blotter
The Hillcrest Road resident told police a woman broke into her home.
A Cleveland Heights resident said a woman broke into her home on the 1600 block of Hillcrest Road at about 4 a.m. Aug. 18.
The resident was sleeping and said when she woke up, she was face-to-face with the intruder. The resident said the woman immediately fled the house, and police said it appeared that the burglar propped a chair under the bathroom window and crawled in. The intruder, described as a woman in her early 20s, 5-feet-4-inches and wearing dark clothing, did not steal anything.

Residents called police Aug. 19 and said a group of four boys or men were firing paintball guns at citizens on the 2300 block of Noble Road. They were driving a white Ford Focus and had out-of-state plates.
