Appointed council member will replace Mark Tumeo, who resigned May 17

Cleveland Heights City Council has interviewed six candidates who applied to take over for former City Council Member Mark Tumeo.

Tumeo  to take a job in Florida, and in March. .

Council members interviewed six of the 18 candidates in the executive conference room in Tuesday night, said Mayor Ed Kelley. Most likely, one of those six will be appointed, but it is not guaranteed that council won't meet with more of the applicants, he said.
