About 30 Roads to Be Repaved, Repaired This Summer
The city will attack some of the worst roads and give them a face-lift
Throughout the summer, orange barrels will become a familiar sight in Cleveland Heights. The city is out to tackle about 30 of the roughest roads and give them a face-lift, said City Manager Robert Downey.
At the most recent City Council meeting, members accepted project bids from Karvo Paving at $823,484 and Specialized Construction at $487,124. Karvo will handle resurfacing roads while Specialized Construction will use a surface treatment program, Downey said.
The money for these projects comes from the city's street repair and construction fund.

"Karvo has 10 streets and Specialized has 20-something," Downey said "They'll all get done during the summer. Some of the streets it's the entire road and on others it's just from here to here."
A full list of streets was not available before this story was published, but keep checking back as the list becomes available.
