Council To Consider Amending Rates For Community Center and Parks

Cleveland Heights City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. today in City Hall.

Cleveland Heights City Council will meet for its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. today, Aug. 6 in .

Council members will consider amending the rates and use regulations for admission and other services for the and parks for the 2012 to 2013 fall/winter season, according to the agenda.

Council will also discuss submitting in application with the City of Shaker Heights and the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency for funding to construct a portion of the Lake to Lakes Trail, under the Federal Transportation Enhancements Program.

The Lake to Lakes Trail is a plan to connect Lake Erie to the Shaker Lakes through Rockefeller Park and University Circle, according to the City of Cleveland Planning Commission's website.

Council will also consider declaring two properties nuisances — 1648 Hillcrest Road and 990 Woodview Road — and abating the properties if action isn't taken to remedy violations.
