Election Day: What You Need to Know

Hours, voting locations and more information you can use to be prepared for the polls

Election Day has finally arrived. Get out and vote! Here are a few last-minute reminders:

  • Polls are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Cuyahoga County.
  • Before you go, review your ballot. With our handy , you can put in your address and see all the questions that will appear on your ballot today as well as information about each candidate and issue. Fill out, share and print your ballot to spark discussions and take it with you to the polls for quick voting.
  • The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections has a list of polling locations by city, and you can double check where you vote here
  • Make sure you bring a valid photo identification card (e.g., driver's license or state ID), military identification or a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck or another document that shows your name and current address. They do not accept passports.
  • In Cleveland Heights, we'll vote for three Cleveland Heights City Council candidates who will serve for four years and one who will serve for two years. We'll also vote for , and one unopposed Cleveland Heights . Cleveland Heights voters will review state issues, including the controversial Issue 2, and local issues such as , the CH-UH school levy.
