Plain Dealer: Cedar Hill RTA Station Ground-Breaking Celebrated Wednesday

The $18.5 million construction project will start soon and take two years to complete.

Good news for RTA riders who use the Cedar Hill station — the 50-year-old facility is going to be rebuilt, according to an article in The Plain Dealer.

The two-year project, which won't stop train and bus travel, will cost $18.5 million. The old station will be razed and replaced with a modern plaza.

The official ground-breaking for the new station was at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19. Cleveland Heights Mayor Ed Kelley said he was excited about the project.
