Planning Commission To Review Sustainable Zoning Code Wednesday

The Planning Commission could approve the changes to the zoning code at its meeting today.

The Cleveland Heights Planning Commission will once again review the proposed changes to the city's zoning code at its meeting Wednesday.

If members pass the amendments, it will then go to Cleveland Heights City Council.

Cleveland Heights officials and consultant Camiros Ltd. have been reviewing the city's zoning code for more than a year with the goal to implement more sustainable practices.

A draft of that revised code is available on the city's website here. The city asked residents to review the proposed changes and share their thoughts and feedback at various community meetings and online.

The Planning Commission first reviewed the amendments at its meeting in March. And City Council, which introduced the zoning code ordinance on first reading Feb. 21, March 26 in the .
