Beaumont Blue Streaks Update - September 10

Beaumont Blue Streaks Updates for Tennis, Golf, Cross-Country, Volleyball & Soccer.

Beaumont Blue Streaks
For the most part it is always a great day in Beaumont Athletics! And this whole week has been a successful and exciting week. We have great young women who are working hard in the classroom and hard on the court, field, track, and course. A quick update on each team:

Tennis
Varsity and JV Tennis are doing very well. Their week started off wet getting rained out with West G on Tuesday. They came back on Wed with the Varsity beating West G in the make-up from Tuesday and JV Beating Saint Joe's Academy. On Thursday, Varsity came out and beat NDCL. Some notable moments for the Varsity were Shannon Connelly who won her match after a long hard match that took about 3 hours. Her perseverance and stamina helped her secure the win! Also, Celina Barone has gone the season thus far undefeated, and has yet to drop a set.

Golf
The 8 members of the golf team are making their presence known in the conference. All ladies have shot their personal best, cutting many strokes from their game. On Tuesday they only go 7 holes in the Laurel Invitational before the rain shut them down. On Wednesday they lost a tough match to St. Joe's losing 183-175. Kat Corrado came out and shot a personal best with a 40, taking the 2nd place medalist spot.
