CHUH School Board to Discuss 2011-2012 School Year Budget

Members will meet tonight at 7 for their monthly special board meeting

The Cleveland Heights-University Heights School Board is meeting tonight at 7 p.m. to discuss the budget and financial forecast for fiscal year 2012.

The school is expected to gain some money from the state, but over the next two years if Gov. John Kasich's budget proposal is approved as written in March.

Several changes have been made to the document, which passed in the House and is now being reviewed by the Senate, so the full ramifications for schools, cities and others remains to be seen. A final draft of the proposal must be complete by July.
