Clevelanders in the Civil War

Thursday, March 24 at 3pm in the Kulas Music Room:  “Clevelanders in the Civil War”

This being the Sesquicentennial of the Civil War’s beginning, you are invited to meet some well-known Clevelanders (and some not so well-known) as they tell their personal stories about the “War Between the States.”

With both humor and enthusiasm, MARGE WILSON presents well-researched vignettes, illustrated with PowerPoint visuals.  Meet John D. Rockefeller’s youngest brother who joined up at 16!     Listen as Col. Oliver Hazard Payne talks about his unusual military service.  You’ll hear about a Severance, a Hanna, one of Lincoln’s guards– you’ll even hear about a Confederate!
