Information Session for New Waldorf School Offered Saturday

New school accepting K-2 enrollment for 2013-2014

Urban Oak School, the first Waldorf school in the Cleveland area, will open at the former Coventry School in Cleveland Heights this fall.

Officials are hosting an information session about the learning style Saturday at the Lee Road Library.

Waldorf curriculum is similar the Montessori curriculum. According to their website, the school is private and will begin work on the seven-year accreditation process immediately.

Preschoolers, kindergarteners, first- and second-graders may enroll for the 2013-2014 school year.
