Proceeds from the Gearity PTA Walk-A-Thon go toward paying for field trip transportation, after-school activities, science programming and more. Mackenzie raised $145 and Maple raised $140 in the second-annual Walk-A-Thon held in October, which was too close to not give both girls the opportunity to be "mayor for a day." Students in all grades participated and raised $1,500.
