Sandy Hook Shooting To Be Addressed at School Meeting

Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School Board will summarize their response so far to the tragedy in Newtown, Ct. and outline their plans moving forward at tonight's meeting.

The Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District Board of Education will address the Sandy Hook shooting at tonight's meeting.

The district has already announced that it will conduct more lockdown drills this week, and has communicated with parents about their efforts to help students cope with the tragedy.

School safety is a hot topic of discussion following a 

District Spokesperson Angee Shaker said that the district's director of student services* will speak at tonight's meeting about their response so far to the events of Dec. 14 as well as their plans moving forward.

The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 7 p.m. at the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City Schools Board of Education Building.
