Hundreds Turn Out for CH-UH School Board Meeting

There were hundreds of people there Tuesday night to talk about the future of the now vacant Millikin School, which closed in 2006.

Residents of the Millikin neighborhood and parents who send their children to would like the board to consider or negotiate the offer from Mosdos to purchase the school for $550,000.

District officials have said the offer is too low, as the school was appraised for $2.4 million in 2005, and have offered to lease the space to Mosdos.
