Rising sixth-graders say goodbye to yesterday

On Wednesday, 47 fifth-graders ended their elementary school careers when they graduated from . The youngsters chose their attire carefully; many of the girls wore heels and most of the boys wore suits and ties.

Yet the day was bittersweet for students, who were leaving behind teachers and friends. The parents embraced and congratulated the new graduates, while realizing the youngsters were taking small but sure steps to maturity.
