Fairfax Elementary students learned about motion and machines from PTA volunteers on Robotics Day last week.
The activities were part of Science Week, a PTA-sponsored event that took place Jan. 28 to Feb. 1.
Each day, parents and volunteers provided workshops and hands-on activities in different areas of science, like robotics, chemistry, astronomy and physics.
