CH-UH Field Hockey Teams Kick Off Season At Oberlin College
Players from Cleveland Heights High School and the middle schools learn skills from the college players and have some fun, too.

The Oberlin Field Hockey team has been a big supporter of the Cleveland Heights Field Hockey programs in the past couple of years. We go to Oberlin College to kick off the season every summer.
This year we went on Aug. 23. Both the high school team and the middle school team attended the trip. The college players plan a day's worth of field hockey skills, activities, a large game and team bonding activities.

This year we ended the day with a watermelon eating contest. In addition to the skills day, the Heights Field Hockey players will also attend an Oberlin Field Hockey game later in the season.
The coaching staff at Oberlin provides support throughout the season by sending videos and providing Heights with field hockey sticks and goalie equipment.
