Cleveland Heights Football 2012: See The Schedule

The season officially begins Aug. 24 when the Tigers take on the Titans at home.

The Cleveland Heights football team had quite the season last year.

The Tigers won the Lake Erie League title and produced the in the school’s history.

Cleveland Heights progressed to the playoffs, but to the 2010 defending state champion St. Edward.

Despite the loss, the football team's historic performance during last year's season sparked excitement .

This year's season officially begins Aug. 24, when the Tigers take on the St. John's Jesuit High School & Academy at 7 p.m. at home.

Saturday  9/1      JOHN ADAMS HS (playing at John Carroll University), 1:30 p.m.

Saturday  9/8        at East HS (Youngstown), 2 p.m.

Friday      9/14      at Bedford HS, 7 p.m.

Friday      9/21      MAPLE HEIGHTS HS, 7 p.m.

Friday      9/28      EUCLID HS, 7 p.m.

Friday      10/5      at Warrensville Heights HS, 7 p.m.

Friday      10/12    at Warren G. Harding HS, 7 p.m.

Friday      10/19    LORAIN HS, 7 p.m.

Friday      10/26    SHAW HS, 5 p.m.

*Home games in UPPERCASE. The schedule is subject to change throughout the season.

I heard that the 8/31 game vs John Adams at JCU has been changed to Sat. 9/1.

Thanks for your comment, Ketti. It hasn't been updated on the official schedule on the district website, so I'm checking that now. I spoke to Jeff Rotsky today and he mentioned the schedule had recently changed. I do think you're right — 9/1 at 1:30 p.m.
