FREE TO NEW STUDENTS (Those who have never to been to Atma Center before, or have not attended class for 6 months or longer)
Expanding on the Pawanmuktasana series introduced in Foundation A, this level introduces classical postures such as triangle, cobra, half camel, and a modified version of Sun Salutation. Develop hip flexibility, core strength and upper body strength in preparation to practice more rigorous asanas safely.
The progression of pranayama continues with an introduction to balancing and tranquilizing breathing practices. Satyananda Yoga Nidra(R) or a sitting meditation is a part of every class.
For those with some yoga experience in asana (poses) or for those who are physically fit.
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early, as space is limited and latecomers may not be admitted.
