Oxford Elementary School

Flag as Inappropriate

Oxford Elementary School was founded in 1925 and has roughly 340 students in grades K - 5. The school mascot is the Oxford Owl and students are asked to follow the Oxford Civility Goals: "You matter. I matter. You deserve respect. I deserve respect. Other people deserve respect, too. Don't just do it. Stop and think before you act. I will stop and think before I act." The school has special events throughout the year, including a soul food buffet that the first grade classes hold as part of the school's celebration of Black History Month in February. Students also participate in volunteer programs with Providence House, an organization that cares for young children whose family situations are unstable or unsafe.
