Carrington Youth Acadamy is a 69 bed children's residential center serving as temporary foster placement and is a centerMore for other troubled youth experiencing neglect or abuse. Its licensed by the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services. At Carrington, boys and girls between the ages of 8 to 21 may stay from several days to several months. Carrington also provides academic, vocational, recreational and clinical services. Counseling and religious opportunities are also available, but optional. The premises are securely monitored 24 hours a day.
