Woman reports masturbating man April 26, 7:30 a.m. — A woman reported that she got into her car in Municipal Lot 6 and an thin, older white male stopped in front her her car, unzipped and started masturbating "while looking her in the eye." He was gone before police arrived. Man charged with punching woman over her cell phone April 27, 2:56 a.m. — Police responded to an alarm on the 1800 block of Coventry Road for a disturbance. Woman Assaults Three Police Officers

Euclid woman charged with three felonies for behavior during and after drunken driving arrest

A Euclid woman was arrested and charged with three felony counts of assaulting a peace officer after she was spotted driving 70 miles per hour down Mayfield Road. Police say they stopped Ebony Taylor, 36, as she was driving near Mayfield Road and Forest Hills Boulevard at 1:36 a.m. Sunday, March 17. When police asked Taylor to exit her car, she fought with them, the report says. She was taken to Cleveland Heights Jail and continued to fight with officers there, using profanities, kicking and swinging her arms at the officers. She squeezed one officer with her wrist and broke his skin with her nails and grabbed the feet of another as she was lying on the floor, causing him to fall and injure his elbow. A woman reported to police that three men attacked her and her brother as they were walking to a local convenience store. The woman dialed 9-1-1 at 9:34 p.m. Jan. 29 and told dispatchers she was seven months pregnant and was lying on the sidewalk near Noble and Elbon Roads after the attack. Her brother was nearby. When police arrived, the two told them that three men attacked them, hitting her in the stomach and head and her brother in the head. A man accused of beating an elderly man with a gun will spend the first 12 years of his adult life in prison. Jermail Coleman, 18, of Cleveland Heights, was sentenced to 12 years in prison Thursday after police say he assaulted an elderly Cleveland Heights man. Coleman pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated burglary with firearm specifications, one count of felonious assault and one count of grand theft Dec. 12. Prosecutors say Coleman and his younger brother knocked on the door of an 87-year-old man’s home on Aug. 13, 2012 and asked to use the phone. The man did not let the two in, but later, Coleman and the juvenile broke into the home through a second story window, took a gun from a bedroom, and assaulted the elderly man with it. The…

Teen Charged With Assaulting Man Outside of Anatolia Café Will Be Tried in Adult Court

A 17-year-old from Shaker Heights charged with attacking a man outside of Anatolia Café June 18 will be tried as an adult. The hearing for the teen, Edwonte Bryant, was Sept. 1, said Maria Russo, spokesperson for Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason's Office. On June 18, prosecutors say the 17-year-old attacked a man outside of Anatolia Café. The 56-year-old victim was having dinner with his wife and two others at the restaurant on Lee Road before the attack occurred, said Ryan Miday, former spokesperson for the prosecutor's office, in July.
