Lee Road Bank Robbed

Suspect wearing wig, scanner traffic reports

NewsNet5 has published a photo of the suspect and reports that the suspect is wanted for other bank robberies. A man robbed U.S. Bank on Lee Road this morning. Police are searching for a man who robbed the bank at around 10 a.m. Scanner traffic indicated that the suspect was wearing a wig at the time of the robbery. No one was injured in the incident.  Police could not release further details about this ongoing investigation.

Cleveland Heights Man Indicted in Serial Bank Robberies

Kevin Wolcott charged with seven counts of bank robbery and blamed for $13,000 stolen

A Cleveland Heights man suspected of seven bank robberies has been indicted in federal court, NewsNet5 reports. Kevin Wolcott, 40, was arrested Nov. 21 after Shaker Heights Police said they spotted him leaving PNC Bank on Chagrin Boulevard just after it was robbed. Serial Bank Robbery Suspect Captured by Shaker Heights Police

Man is accused of robbing seven banks, including one other in Shaker Heights, with white powder on his face.

Police believe they have nabbed a man who has robbed seven banks in less than a month in Cleveland and its east suburbs. Kevin Wolcott, 39, and a woman that the FBI said was assisting him today in his foiled attempt to rob a Shaker Heights bank were arrested. They are being held in Shaker Heights Jail. Wolcott is suspected of robbing seven banks in Cleveland Heights, University Heights, Lyndhurst, Cleveland and Shaker Heights, and attempting to rob one this morning, when he was arrested as he left PNC Bank at 20711 Chagrin Blvd. just before 11 a.m. In this case, an employee called police while the suspect was still inside. Man Robs Key Bank on Coventry Road

Suspect wore scarf over his face

A man robbed Key Bank on Coventry Road around 9 a.m. Monday wearing a scarf over his face and carrying a gun.  The man asked the teller for money, but the Cleveland Heights Police Department and the FBI said they could not comment on exactly how much he took. He carried a gun, but police said they are not sure whether it was real or fake.  Images from the video of the robbery show a white man wearing a light blue button-up shirt with a collar, an indigo blue newsboy-like cloth hat and a black scarf tied around his face. He ran toward the back of the building, and police could not find him.  Cleveland Heights Police and the FBI are still investigating the robbery, and there are no suspects at this time.  The FBI asks anyone with information…
