The 2012 Cain Park Arts Festival will feature the work of 150 artists, and Cleveland Heights Patch has selected a few to tell you about. We'll provide a brief profile of one artist each day leading up to and during the event. Before John Boyett of Canton Glass Works learned the art of glass blowing, he joined the U.S. Air Force because he wanted to see the world, according to his website. After serving, the Florida native returned home, pursued and completed both an associate’s and a bachelor’s of fine arts, and joined the University of Miami glass blowing guild.
