Club Opens in Coventry's Centrum Theatre
Club Centrum features big screen projection, no cover before midnight
Coventry Road has a new dance club. Club Centrum opened earlier this month in the space formerly occupied by Fracas, below the theatre that housed comedy club Big Dog Theatre until late last year. The club features top 40 dance music and a few microbrews alongside its full bar and domestic drafts. The draw, said general manager Dan Lesniak, is the huge projection screen and lighting system that accompanies the music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. He even noted that the DJs can slow down the speed of the music 45 minutes before closing time to help usher customers out. ("You'd be surprised how well it works," he added.)
