Cleveland Heights Tigers roar and strut during homecoming festivities

When the Heights High School Marching Band hit the drums on Friday evening, spirited members of the Tiger Nation marched from the Delisle Center on South Taylor Road, down Washington Boulevard, to the high school football field. The homecoming parade was a community affair, with contingents from the city's elementary and middle schools and youth sports teams. Gearity Professional Development School won first place for its marchers, which included a teacher wearing a rainbow-colored wig and an orange sweat-shirt. The parade was the second in a trio of events marking the high school homecoming. The day culminated in Heights High's 28-0 victory over Warren G. Harding. The team remains undefeated.
