Woman reports masturbating man April 26, 7:30 a.m. — A woman reported that she got into her car in Municipal Lot 6 and an thin, older white male stopped in front her her car, unzipped and started masturbating "while looking her in the eye." He was gone before police arrived. Man charged with punching woman over her cell phone April 27, 2:56 a.m. — Police responded to an alarm on the 1800 block of Coventry Road for a disturbance. A woman said that she had dropped her cell phone in the street, and saw another man pick it up while she was looking for it. He gave it back to her, but they started…

Boys, 12 and 14, Charged With Burglary

Cleveland Heights Police arrest two boys accused of stealing laptop from locked home

Police arrested two boys aged 12 and 14 after they said the boys burglarized a Monticello Road home. Officers were called to a home on the 3500 block April 30 by a resident who said someone entered her home and took a laptop. The woman said that two boys had helped her with yard work the day before and she invited them into her home. Police questioned the boys, and they admitted to going back to the home on April 30 and breaking in to get the laptop.

Resident Spots Four Men Taking the Oven in Burglary

A man said his son spotted four men burglarizing their home, and the suspects left with the oven and the back door, police said. The resident of the 2700 block of St. James Parkway reported the burglary just after 8 p.m. on April 20. Two windows were also broken. Driver hits Dave’s Market in car March 20, 3:05 p.m. — A driver hit the corner of Dave’s Market at 3628 Mayfield Road. The driver said she blacked out and was transported to a hospital. The car also hit a bike rack and a shopping cart. Three Charged in Fatal IHOP Shooting

Cleveland Heights Police announced this afternoon that three women were charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with a shooting at IHOP Saturday

Three suspects have been charged in a Cleveland Heights shooting that left one person dead early Saturday morning. Sharon Moore, 24; Rachella Womack, 20; and Natosha Williams, 22, all of Cleveland, have been charged with involuntary manslaughter, inciting to violence, vandalism and robbery. According to police, the three women were escorted out of the IHOP at 3452 Mayfield Road just before 3 a.m. because they were fighting verbally. As the security guard walked with them outside, the four began to fight physically.  The security guard, Gary Williams, 41, of Mayfield Heights, fell to the ground and his gun discharged, hitting Nadia Williams, 25, of Cleveland, in the head. 59 Marijuana Plants Found in Cummings Road Home

A Cleveland Heights man has been charged with felony drug trafficking, cultivating marijuana and possession of criminal tools after authorities said that 59 marijuana plants were discovered in his home last week. Garry Kanter, 55, of Cummings Road in Cleveland Heights, was charged in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court March 25, according to court records.  The Sun News reports that 59 plants and 2,300 grams of hash oil were discovered after a search warrant was executed on his home March 20. He was arrested March 25 and posted a $25,000 bond the same day. He's been charged with two counts of drug trafficking, two counts of drug possession and one count each of cultivating marijuana and possessing criminal tools. Kanter is due in court …

Man pulls gun during dispute March 13, 8:05 p.m. — Someone called police and reported that a man had pulled a gun on him in his Clifford Road home. The suspect was gone when police arrived, but the resident told police that he had come to the door asking if there was a dice game.
