My last day as editor of Cleveland Heights Patch is today, Nov. 30.
I wanted to let everyone know that after today, Nov. 30, I will no longer be the local editor of Cleveland Heights Patch. My new position is with GIE Media. The offices are in Cleveland, so I’m happy to say I will be able to continue to live in Cleveland Heights. I have had the pleasure of learning about this community and meeting hundreds of interesting, intelligent and engaged residents. I understand now why people told me Cleveland Heights was so special. Last weekend, Patch launched a redesigned platform on five of its sites on New York’s Long Island. I liked the old format much better. The new ones doesn't give the current stories the billing the deserve and repeats articles that are in some cases days or weeks old   more ›

A handful of readers shared their thoughts in the comments section underneath the article on the Cleveland Heights Patch homepage, but many others weighed in on our Facebook page. Cleveland Heights Patch readers have contributed hundreds of photos and illustrations to our Pics & Clips gallery. People have shared photographs of extreme weather, the Reaching Heights Spelling Bee, the first Cleveland Heights-University Heights Little Free Library, lost pets, events in Coventry and more. The more often people share photos, the better our Pics & Clips Gallery becomes. The most recent photos are from the first day of school for CH-UH students Aug. 30. But there have been several wonderful Cleveland Heights events since then and more are coming up — the Grog Shop's 20th anniversary, the Heights Heritage Home & Garden Tour, and sporting events from local schools. If you're at an event in Cleveland Heights and take photos, …
