Longtime Heights Library Board Member To Retire
Esther Moss, president of the Cleveland Heights-University Heights Public Library Board of Trustees, will retire after more than a decade of service. The library is now accepting applications for a new board member.
Longtime Cleveland Heights-University Heights Public Library Board of Trustees member Esther Moss recently announced that she will retire after her term ends in December. Moss, who taught children with learning and behavioral disabilities in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, has served on the board since 1999 and served as president in 2005 and this year, according to a news release from the Heights Libraries. “Her dedication and service to our community and our libraries has been steadfast for over ten years,” said Heights Libraries Director Nancy Levin. “We will miss her.” Heights Libraries is now seeking applicants to fill the open Board of Trustees spot, which carries a seven-year term.
