Venture Downtown for $33 Prix Fixe Dinners, 'Pierogi Power'

Downtown Cleveland Restaurant Week starts this weekend.

Downtown Cleveland's Restaurant Week starts this weekend with $30 prix fixe dinners, $15 lunch specials and pierogis at over 40 restaurants. This year is the first time the specials, at places like Lola, Morton's, The Greenhouse and more, have extended through two weekends — Feb. 22 to March 3. Some parking will be available for $2 after 5 p.m., and customers can enter for a chance to win downtown dining for a year. Pearl of the Orient — If you’ve grown up in this area, you probably remember Pearl of the Orient — the restaurant that introduced Northern and Szechuan cooking to our little slice of Northeast Ohio back in 1978. Pearl of the Orient has a great atmosphere and the food was pure quality. The recipes used stay true to classic Chinese themes while being friendly enough for the american consumer. I am a regular Pearl of the Orient customer and have grown accustomed to there friendly and efficient staff as well as there daily discounts and deals.   more ›
