Heights Arts could have its new executive director by April. Sharon Grosman, president of the Board of Trustees, said Friday that they have "had a good number of applicants" and they are conducting initial phone interviews. Then they will advance the process into personal interviews with the Board of Trustees members. Grosman said they are still accepting applications. "We still want people to apply because we want to very best person to apply," she said. For the first time in its 13 year history, Heights Arts has an opening at executive director. Peggy Spaeth confirmed on Thursday that she would step down to pursue other projects. The organization's board of trustees is searching for her replacement and quickly posted job description and application information on its website. Spaeth said she is moving on to explore other projects
Peggy Spaeth has confirmed that she will soon leave Heights Arts, where she had been executive director since the organization was founded in 2000. "I've got some other projects I'd like to explore," she said Thursday morning. "I've been doing it for 13 years, so I figured I'd pass it along." The Heights Arts Board of Trustees first announced Spaeth's departure Thursday morning in a news release from President Sharon Grossman.
