DRAFT DAY: Party With Patch or Join The Chat

Finally, the draft has come back to Cleveland. That's right football fans, it's draft day and the boys in brown and orange are on the clock. Not only is tonight a big night for Cleveland fans, it's a great night for Patch fans. Draft Party: At 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Patch and Solon Panini's will team up and throw a party to celebrate the first round of the draft. We'll be set up at the bar, and we'll be giving away prizes. Hint: You can eat some of the prizes! Live Chat: Cant' make it to Solon? During the draft party, Patch Editors Chris Mazzolini and Mitch Cooper will be hosting a live chat that will stream on all of Ohio's Patch sites. VIDEO: Josh Cribbs Loses Parking Ticket Battle in Cleveland Heights

Josh Cribbs appeared in Cleveland Heights Municipal Court today to contest a $15 ticket he thought he didn't deserve. Cribbs was supposed to appear June 30, but requested a continuance at the last minute. His hearing was scheduled for 1:30 p.m. today, and he arrived about 15 minutes late.  The Browns player pleaded his case — there was time left on the meter when he found the ticket on his white Mercedes parked in the lot on the corner of South Taylor Road and Washington Boulevard.  And he brought evidence — a photo of many that he took showing the ticket and time still remaining on the meter, which he had posted to Twitter June 17, the day he got the ticket.  He suggested it could be human error.
