Bank Robber Dons White Paint on His Cheeks
Witnesses at the Cleveland Heights Ohio Savings Bank said the man gave an employee a note, demanded money and motioned to his jacket as if he had a weapon. They also noticed he had something on his face.
Cleveland Heights Police are searching for a man who robbed Ohio Savings Bank at about 10:15 a.m. Nov. 1. Witnesses at the Lee Road branch said the man, who had white paint on his cheeks, gave an employee a note and demanded money. He reached his right hand into his left side jacket as if he was about to grab a gun, but never actually revealed a weapon. The man was wearing all black, a black cap and was described as black, about 6 feet tall, medium build, 200 to 230 pounds and in his early to mid 40s. After he stole money, he fled and ran toward Yorkshire. Police are still searching for a suspect. Reports compiled from call logs and information from the Cleveland Heights Police Department.
