Men Robbed Of Their Shorts At Gunpoint

The information in this report is from the Cleveland Heights Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

Two men driving near Sprangler and Greyton roads in Cleveland Heights on May 19 were ordered at gunpoint to remove their shorts and hand them over, according to the Cleveland Heights Police. Four people, including three 18-year-olds and a juvenile, were later arrested and charged with felony aggravated robbery, according to a police report. Adults charged were: Devon Jones, 18, Sade Hill, 18, and Shanena Stevens, 18, the report reads. The victims said a car pulled up next to them at about 11 p.m. on May 19 while they were driving and asked them for some "loud," a slang term for marijuana, reads the report. You can't make this stuff up. Wow, stealing shorts, really? I understand most people keep their valuables in their pants, but to request them at gun point that's an all time low. They were all 18 too just out of high school. I suspect these three didn't attend class much. Thank God one of them didn't get nervous and improperly discharge that firearm. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. STRONGSVILLE: Man Found Living in Woods A May 3rd fire led officials to discover someone has been living in the woods. Firefighters were called to smoke on the east side of the building about 9:40 a.m. and reported to police that there was someone living there. Officers located a man walking to the area, who admitted to having a fort and cooking. The said he believed he had gotten permission to camp there. Questioned in the Nude: Twinsburg Police didn't learn much about a stolen-money accusation on May 3, but they were exposed to a naked man. The unexpected showing occurred during officers' second trip to the Warren Parkway residence that day. Police came earlier because a woman was screaming for help outside. Man Accused of Felonious Assault Doesn't Show Up To Hearing

A 35-year-old from Cleveland accused of beating a Cleveland Heights man with his gun and robbing a couple in their driveway didn't appear for his arraignment in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Monday.

A man accused of striking a Cleveland Heights resident with his gun and robbing a couple at their home didn't show up to court Monday for his arraignment. Tommie Golphin, 35, of Cleveland, was supposed to appear at 8:30 a.m. in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court. He is charged with aggravated robbery, felonious assault, kidnapping and having weapons under disability after prosecutors say he robbed a couple at their home on Nelaview Road. He is accused of robbing a husband and wife in their driveway after they came home from the overnight shift Dec. 18. Prosecutors say Golphin attacked the man with his handgun. On Tuesday, Cleveland Heights Police arrested Timothy English Jr., a suspect in an armed robbery near the Dollar General on Lee Road that occurred at 1:12 p.m. March 7. English, 18, and a suspect who goes by the name "Drake" are accused of stealing cash and an iPhone from the victim and threatening him at gunpoint, according to information released by the police department. Teens threaten to kill classmate A 16-year-old girl from Cleveland Heights was walking to the store with her two sisters near South Taylor Road and Desota Avenue just before 6 p.m. March 7 when two of her classmates approached her and said they wanted to fight her. Police Blotter: Teens Rob 13-Year-Old, Man Charged With Stabbing His Wife's Face

A 38-year-old Cleveland Heights man was arrested and charged with felonious assault Nov. 22 after police said he stabbed his wife in the face. The call came in from the 3200 block of Berkshire Road around 2:19 a.m. Teens rob bike from 13-year-old A caller reported that two teenagers knocked a 13-year-old Cleveland Heights resident off of his bike and took it around 5:44 p.m. Nov. 26 near Greyton and Windsor roads. Police Blotter: Man Refuses to Take No For an Answer After Asking for Ride From Stranger

A Cleveland Heights resident said an intoxicated man climbed into an unlocked car parked in his driveway and fell asleep

Around 3:30 a.m. Oct. 22, a man from Garfield Heights who appeared drunk asked a Cleveland Heights resident for a ride near the 800 block of Helmsdale. The Helmsdale resident refused, but the 31-year-old man would not take no for an answer. He climbed into the passenger side of an unlocked car parked in the Cleveland Heights man’s driveway. According to police reports, once he got in the car, “the male immediately fell asleep and soiled himself.” That’s when the man called Cleveland Heights Police. Officers charged the man with disorderly conduct and voluntary intoxication. Police Blotter: Naked Man Assaults Woman in Dave's Market

A Dave's Market employee called police on Sept. 18 after a naked man came into the store and assaulted her. The man asked the employee for a lighter, and when she said she didn't have one, he punched her and ran. The man was later arrested in full dress. Hit and run There were reports of a woman trying to hit people with her car at Forest Hills Park on Sept. 17, but no further information was available. Shoplifting trio Two women from Cleveland and one juvenile were arrested on Sept. 14 after being caught shoplifting at Walmart. The value of the items they stole was not available. Cleveland Heights Police Blotter: Kid Shoved Off Bike and Robbed in Cain Park

After a boy reportedly pushed him off, he stole his wheels

On June 22, a mother called Cleveland Heights Police to report that her son was shoved off his bike in Cain Park and his ride was stolen.  She described the bike to police and what the suspect looked like according to her son.  Later that day, police found the bike on Desota Avenue and a suspect, who is under 18, near the 4000 block of Berkeley Road.  All information compiled from police call logs and information from the Cleveland Heights Police Department
