Trader Joe's Recalls Frozen Dinner

The product could be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, the health officials in the U.S. and Canada said

For the third time this year, a Trader Joe's product has been recalled. U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service on Monday announced that Aliya’s Foods Limited, one of Trader Joe's producers, will recall boxes of the "Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice” line, the Huffington Post reported. Aliya's will recall 4,865 pounds of frozen butter chicken and rice imported from Canada because the food may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The product is sold in a 12.5-ounce box. About 240 cartons of the butter chicken have been distributed to stores along the East Coast, but none to the Woodmere location or any others in Ohio.
