Pearl of the Orient — If you’ve grown up in this area, you probably remember Pearl of the Orient — the restaurant that introduced Northern and Szechuan cooking to our little slice of Northeast Ohio back in 1978. During that time, owner Rose Wong has been serving well-prepared dishes and winning numerous restaurant awards in the process. The atmosphere of the dining room is cozy and a bit of a throwback to the 1970s and '80s, and the menu selection is nothing short of enormous. Pearl of the Orient has a great atmosphere and the food was pure quality. The recipes used stay true to classic Chinese themes while being friendly enough for the american consumer. I am a regular Pearl of the Orient customer and have grown accustomed to there friendly and efficient staff as well as there daily discounts and deals.   more ›
