Trial for Cleveland Heights Man Charged with Accepting Housing Inspection Bribes Begins
Frank Issac was charged with accepting cash and gifts in exchange for passing housing inspections
The trial of a Cleveland Heights man and building inspector supervisor with the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority who was charged with accepting cash and gift cards in exchange for passing housing inspections began Monday. Frank Isaac, 41, is accused of accepting $275 in cash and gifts to pass one inspection in Cleveland Heights, said Maria Russo, spokeswoman for Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason's Office. Isaac was indicted on the charges in August 2010, and the bribery exchange dates back to November 2005. He pleaded not guilty in September 2010. CMHA Building inspector Charles Williams, 45, of South Euclid, was also indicted on bribery charges, and he was additionally charged with falsification. His case is pending. Isaac has …

A silly Inspector came 'round my house and she found 2 nit-picky things that were strictly cosmetic -- and entirely at the rear of the house, invisible to all -- and, of course, she just couldn't let that pass.
