Cardholders can now download songs using the library's new free digital music service, Freegal Music

Business owners and others combine forces and plan to give the Cedar Lee area a face-lift
As we all know, the Cedar Lee business district is a popular destination for those seeking unique culinary treats, independent films, outdoor entertainment in the summer, art gallery treasures and many other attractions. This mile-long Cedar Lee Streetscape project is being developed by the Cedar Lee Special Improvement District (SID) in cooperation with the City of Cleveland Heights and the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating …

Kickoff party still set for May 15
The Noble Neighborhood Library reopening has been delayed one week, and will now be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 23, instead of May 16. The library will still throw a party for residents to celebrate the new space from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, May 15. The branch, one of four in Cleveland Heights and University Heights, closed for seven months for renovations, which will cost about $1 million once the project is complete, according to a press release. Features include an early childhood room, which was paid for with a $32,000 grant, plus more space and technology. The second phase of renovations will focus on the exterior of the library to improve the lighting and landscaping, preserve the stone and brick on the building and improve the front steps…
