Updated: Severe Thunderstorm Watch Until Midnight
The National Weather Service says to stay inside and move away from windows
UPDATE 9:15 p.m. The National Weather Service has lifted a severe thunderstorm warning, but a severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until midnight tonight for 18 counties, including Cuyahoga. --- UPDATE 7:20 p.m. The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for several areas of Cuyahoga County, including Cleveland Heights, until 7:45 tonight. According to the NWS Cleveland website, "This is a dangerous storm. Seek shelter inside now and stay away from windows." The storm could bring hail as large as golf balls and winds of up to 60 mph.
