Hey Lady,I really enjoyed your visit last week.I am very busy these days,I picked up two additional senior citizen projects.I 'm also trying to take care of my gardens,I have tea parties all summer for the seniors.

ATTENTION ALL GARDENERS!
On Saturday, May 28, 2011, from 10:00 am - 1:30 pm, HRRC will be hosting our first annual plant and seed exchange. The exchange- any and all plants and seeds. This includes houseplants, annuals, perennials, vegetables and any other plant that has not been listed here. If you are bringing plants, please bring along a tarp or a large peice of cardboard that they can be placed on. Plants can be brought in bags, pots, or boxes-please water to remain healthy during the swap.
Garden tools and implements- Please bring along any garden tools, implements , equipment and gardening books that you no longer have any use for (Tools must be in working order please). Mulch, fertilizer, soil anything you may have that you have no use for bring and exchange for plants or items you CAN use.

hello ladeborah mccree,i'am not involved with the food not lawns project,my post was about one of many projects,my neighbors and myself are involved in,we share plants ,seeds,seedling,assist senior garderners,sometimes donating a trip to the local plant nurseries,we have many gardening ideas,for example,lots of hosta,willing lillies,tips,taps ,tea,just a few,i would be more than happy to share with you ,how to take part of a garden project,let me know ,which one you're interested in,by the way i don't have a lawn at all,just theme gardens,out front it's formal and cottage,my garden is featured in the 2001 hts.,home garden heritage tour,as far as the dates for food not lawns project,i know michelle simakis can inform you,she really does a great job keeping us,up to date about any issues posted on this site

Hi, Linda! I am interested "Food not Lawns" as I much rather look at/care for flowers and edibles than grass. Every year I decrease the lawn, by adding more beds. I would like to attend the meetings at the CH-UH library, but I found out about this too late . Will you keep me posted on time/place? Thank You!
